Rose White: Search for a King (A Bachelorette Challenge) #12 Meet the King

 

As Rose waited (not so patiently) her anxiety was rising more and more as the minutes passed.  Who had the people chosen?   She had not been told.  She was given a rose and instructions on when to present it and now she waited.

It has been nearly a year since this began.  At first it was all fun and games but now standing here, the reality of her decision hits hard!

She was glad it was over and she knew would accept whatever came but at the moment she fought the urge to run for those hills!

She told herself, “Stand fast Rose and trust the people to make a good choice for you!”

She stood fast!

Mike arrived at the location they gave him.  His heart was heavy in his chest and breathing was difficult.  His mind raced and he was filled with dread.

He was like a dead man walking.   His feet did NOT want to move .. he had to will every step!

This day had been a LONG time coming!  He had placed his life in the hands of the people and now he would know their choice. Although he desperately loved the Princess he would abide by their decision.

      1. Yay! So exciting. I wanted Mike to win but by the end I liked Jack too so I wouldn’t have been upset either way. Can’t wait to see what you have planned for them.

  5. My heart melted on the picture of where he’s hugging her. So sweet. I saw the love between these two from the moment you introduced him. Mike is sweet and I love the love he has for Rose and the love the two of them share.

  6. Awesome. The poses were awesome! I love Joanne’s poses! Flirty drinks and flirty cookies. Haha! I’m not sure that is even needed with these two! I bet they will make gorgeous babies!!!!

      1. So expect a LOT of randomly and planned romance between these two…like Snow and Prince? That’s going to be funny, in a good way. First we get hooked on Snow and Prince and their legendary love and now we get Rose and Mike and their flirtiness. Haha! My goodness! You have your hands full, don’t you? Hahaha!

  7. This was sooo beautiful and just what I wished for! The two are perfect! 🙂 Poor Jack but but well, Mike was allways my favourite since the first day so. Funny that they will be couple like Snow and Prince: one blond the other dark haired… so … it will be exciting to see how the Spawn will be like.
    The pics are truely wonderful and I am already wondering how the next pics and plot will be … thank you for your amzing work ♥♥♥

  9. Omg finally rose has her kinggggggg! I was happy with the finale ypu did such a great job with it hun. I totally voted for mike and i could barely wait to scroll down…xxx loved roses series. Awesome til the end.

    1. LOL no he has held a commanding lead since day one .. but it is all legit ❤ His creator did go the extra mile to campaign (the only one … which was open for all to do)

  18. This was a fabulous story, lisabee!
    I dropped by this afternoon to read “a few chapters,” discovered that I’d already read up to the Challenge #1 without remembering much, than was absolutely compelled to keep reading until the bitter end!
    So, it only seemed to you as if I didn’t read all the way to the end. I’ve been away crying in the closet about Jack not winning, LOL! (Actually, I installed MCCC this afternoon and have been fiddling with its settings all day)

    I was so curious about the boys’ relationship bars with each other, haha.
    How crazy that they were so uninterested in the princess for so long.
    Of course, your witty and often frustrated commentary is what made your sims’ silly behavior come alive.
    I loved your creativity in thinking up challenges that were totally random, esp. the frog breeding and dig site exploring one.
    I’m hoping now that Jack will marry one of the sisters! The one with the best personality, natch!

    And I still don’t know what you mean by the red-headed surprise? Is that part of the next story?
    It’s waaaay late here. 😀

      2. That is Aster (flower name LOL) .. I was shocked .. he so loves him mom and dad LOL .. he is only a teen and they are OLD elders now (a very difficult time is coming very soon)

  19. I looked at all the Table of Contents, but I don’t know where to go (what to read) after The Search for the King. I even re-read the Lemme ‘Splain post, lol.
    What’s the name of the next series of chapters?

      1. Wow, I totally confused myself! I thought that was the name for all the stories together. Also I’ve already read some of “Era of Charming Tales” updates about Rose and Bruno. I’ll just have to start over again. Such a hardship, lol. ❤

  21. Awwwwwwwww! This was so sweet! I was worried it was going to be him headed to get dumped. I didn’t even realize until he was on his knees with his arms around her waist that he’s the one I really wanted. I’m so glad I waited to find out who won. Normally, I don’t even care about spoilers, but this was fun to read (hella late) chapter by chapter. Poor Jack… I’m interested in what happens next for him, and how he handles the news that it’s not him.
