I wanted to take another quick peek at Sulani before I returned to the jungle to finish SimDougnut’s “Return to the Jungle” challenge (I will finish sometime this year I promise).

since I have a couple of game codes for Island Living to give away!

A monsoon took out most of the homes on the windward side of the Island.
While many of the residents rebuilt their homes, a few decided it was time to make a move to the leeward side of their island and have come to settle on the small coastal islands of Sulani.

KuKu (Grandma) raising her sweet granddaughters.

Today …
Mama and her brood were the first to arrive. Many of you may remember that Mama was the first one to befriend and help the castaway King and Queen. As an island midwife, she also delivered princess Houkea.
While all are enjoying the new house, Mama does admit to being a bit nervous at the thought of losing one of the kids over the deck.

Auntie Healani and Uncle Amu have also relocated.
Auntie, who never had children of her own, is very attached to princess Houkea and could not bear to think of her being so far away from them.
They both agree that this is the perfect place to spend their golden years!

Fetu is very happy with the move.
His fishing business is doing great.
The house is a bit odd.
Off the grid does not really bother him
But the strange blue spirits that come every night can be unsettling.
He is trying to make friends with them.
Makua, a fishing/couch surfing buddy has been hanging out with him for a while.
To be quite honest Fetu had not imagined it would be this long term.
But they do get along well … and he has lots of friends that come over.
Not really sure what she is going to do with that fireball …
Life on the Island is lots of fun for the boys!

Before I go, just a little more about Island mermaids.
Next blog we will learn that they are not all sweetness and light but for now the pretty side of mermaids
You met sweet Talia in the last blog. Today we meet her roomies.
Although she is a friend to all sea creatures … beautiful Talia is shy around humans (and even other Mermaids.
She prefers quieter pursuits.
Polu Ka’ino means blue storm (Hawaiian).
He is not your typical surfer beach bum.
There is much more to Polu than meets the eye.
He is an island protector who brings vengeance on those who would destroy.
Island ner-do-wells are stopped in their evil tracks by the fierce storms he calls in.
In his icy blue mer-form he can move thru the water undetected by the human eye.
Ka’Mama Mano or “Shark bait,” as he is fondly nick-named around the Island, is your typical teen.
A gloomy guy who hangs out in his room playing video games while the other mermaids are out for evening swims.
While it is true that he is a #mermaid, tbh he doesn’t really like the ocean that much.
He had a bad tangle with a shark a couple of years back and it left him shook.
He wears a whistle around his neck to summon help should he encounter one of those razor-toothed fellas!
Talia is always giving him encouragement but it never seems to sink in.

Glad that Rose and Mike are re-locating to Sulani. Makes perfect sense with the new pack. All of the families and story lines are great. You took some beautiful screenshots. Love the story up-date. Wonderful!

Your sims are lovely. I m taking a lot of them to my Sulani. I haven’t really played yet… (every lot must look perfect in the neighbourhood where I’m starting. My lots are ready, now I only need the perfect sims for my game and you got some of them! ♥ I loved already your rebels in Strangerville! I hope to come back fully soon and hope to catch up with my favourite stories again, the Charmings, Murkland and get to know the newer ones. Rose and Mike in Sulani are looking darn well ! I must know the how and whys.

I am so happy you like them. And I would love to hear of your adventures again too. I am also tickled that you love my rebel faction… they are some of my favorites! There is an easy catch up so that you don’t have to do too much reading at the top of the blog there is a menu item At the very beginning it said new readers should go here first. There is a synopsis of the past story and overview of where the stories are going.
