A BIG TY to EA, The Sims 4, & the Game Changers Network.
They made it possible for me to bring you this peek & one giveaway code ❤
(I will sweeten the pot with 1 more code from me).
At the bottom of this blog, you will find entry instructions.
(Not trying to be mean here but please do not message me about the giveaway if you have not read the instructions)
I will also point out that at the very end of this blog there is a collection of players tips .. all sooo fab I had to share.
Many of you readers will recognize, Lisa Bee, my #saa100babychallenge mama.
While it is true that she-a-ho …
it is also true that she is a FAB FAB mama.
Recently three of her baby bees flew the bee’s nest
and TBH Mama Bee is concerned for them!
She has come up with a scheme to ensure they have a sweet future in hives of their own one day.
She has resolved that her baby bees are going to college!
BabyDaddy Ramin was quickly on board.
He is the proud papa of her firstborns, Aaron and Amy.
Ramin has accrued a very comfortable nest egg (not sure how he got it but it was there when I loaded him up) and a strong desire to see his progeny succeed.
Aaron and Amy were also very excited about Mama’s plan.
Aaron had been doing some freelance writing and was excited to learn more about Literature.
Although Amy has played violin since she was quite young she does not wish to pursue that formally in college. Instead, she will follow in the footsteps of her hero, her daddy, and seek a degree in culinary arts.
Ramin was so proud he felt as tho he could bust!
His kiddos in college!
Mama was a happy bee!
BabyDaddy Joquin was very supportive.
He too is a proud papa!
Baby bee #3, Bubba Bee, is his pride and joy.
Bubba listened with keen interest but was cautious with his optimism.
He knew his daddy did not have much to offer financially and did not wish to burden his parents.
“Thank you, mama, for believing in me,” Bubba began sadly. “I am afraid I cannot attend college because it is too costly. I could never cause hardship on you and daddy.”
“Don’t worry baby bee,” Mama assured with a soft smile, “You can apply for scholarships and I have been setting aside simoleans from my frog breeding business. I was saving up for a basement but you are far more important than that!”
After some convincing, Bubba solemnly promised to work hard to live up to his parent’s belief in him.
Scouting had taught him a love of science and he would aim for a degree in Biology. Maybe even go on to realize his dream of becoming a doctor.
Amy and Aaron were so happy to learn that Bubba would be attending school with them.
Campus life would be sweet for these close-knit siblings.
First, they would need to choose a school.
After much research and debate, it was decided …
the University of Britechester would meet all of their needs.
They will be proud DRAGONS!
Next came the ordeal of applying for scholarships …
even tho the money was already available to Amy and Aaron they took the initiative to contribute time and effort toward the venture.
As he promised, Bubba was particularly diligent in his search.
Fingers crossed for all!
With all the applications in, it was a matter of hurry up and wait …
and wait …
and wait!
(That was a difficult part and to be honest eventually I debugged them in).
(Isn’t this the creepiest little kid ever? He just sat down and began macking on her.)
Soon it was time for goodbyes.
Mama Bee held each tight and whispered words of encouragement in their ears.
Campus life is live!
The Bee trio spends the first few days seeing all the sights they can see.
It looks like Amy is making a special nemesis.
Soon it is time to get cracking on class assignments and homework.
(The boys are roomies.)
(Of course, Amy gets the pink room)
Aaron is fighting the freshman 15 …
too many pizza rolls and breakfast burritos!
Let’s not forget that the doughnut stand, right out his front door!
Poor Bubba seems to be fighting off something else altogether!
Hang tough Bubba!
I hear the infirmary is good!
Each story now has it’s own Table of contents page so that you can easily follow the story you want to read.

Reader’s tips:
Some awesome advice from members of my Facebook group.
fireywreck and eclair004 point out:
Vampires do very well in college. My sim got A+ but he has the advantage of being a vampire.
Same here! They get to class immediately with moves as mist/bat/super speed.
Honestly, vamps have a way easier time in uni since they lack some of the needs. Just keep plasma packs handy for thirst management and boom.

More than 2 classes a term is HARD. 2 is hard enough. I would start with 1 or 2 and see how it goes. If it’s not enough for you, you can always do 4 your next term.
The groups are fun to join and rewarding. But there’s no sort feature to find group members. You just kind of have to remember who’s in it or only talk to them during events! There’s no reason to be friends with them, but if you want to for your story, you’ll have to keep track on your own.
If you move on campus, the game will sell your current house!!!!!! When I tried to cancel out of the “moving” screen, I couldn’t and lost everything. Had to go back to a previous save. (That might have been a glitch where the screen just didn’t load in all the way, but I was so sad!)
If you go to Foxbury, give yourself extra time to get around. The stairs + a bike means a lot of climbing on and climbing off.
You have homework before your first class of the term, do it before you go to class! It will help with your grade. In addition to the homework, you also have either a final exam or a term paper for each class. If you have a final, just show up for the last class of term. If you have a term paper, DO NOT TURN IT IN UNTIL THE LAST DAY!!!!!! Once you turn in that paper and attend your last class, you’ll still have several days of term, but won’t be able to email your professors or study or do anything that might improve your grade. You can turn in an outstanding quality paper, attend classes and have your homework done before every class, but still only pull a C+ because you turned the paper in too early.
And lastly, if you’re out and about in the world and you choose to travel home while a bike is in your inventory, there’s a chance your sim will be riding it when the loading screen pops. If that happens (and you live in the dorms) your sim will load in still sitting on the bike. And it cracks me up!!!!!
Another nifty thing you might want to mention to the seasons players. If it’s a holiday on a day you have class, you won’t be prompted to go to class, but it DOES still take place! You will be negatively affected if you miss class for a holiday!

One thing I almost missed is that when you write your papers or create your presentation boards if you hover over the options it will tell you the quality of the work. You can then edit the papers (I do after going to class and doing hw/studying), and for presentations, you can get feedback from people. If you’re turning in low or normal quality work, that will definitely hurt your grade.
AshKetchumLee reminds:
The roommate notes disappear after a short time so you gotta keep an eye out. They are so well worth it! Hilarious. (I will say she has the best/worst roomies ever)
Loopie94 tips us:
I turn in the term paper in the first 2 days and pull an A+, and don’t forget Presentations. The worse part of those is you can only present Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Which is when soccer or classes go. And study every day for at least the final exam classes. Anything more than 2classes WILL cause your sum to have no life and for you to disable decay of needs lol
liubluejeans reassures:
there has been some dismay over being unable to enter Buy/Build in the dorms. The bb.enablefreebuild cheat “does” work in the dorms. I was able to add a computer and mini-fridge to my Sim’s room and a chess table in the common area.

If you are not sick of me yet …
I have some shots of the Uni world:
Great story and dormitories! I love how beautiful the world is and how many degrees there are! I might do a playtest with my SimSelf and make him study Computer Science at Britechester! I went to a private college IRL and never had the “real university experience”, so it’ll be fun to experience it through my virtual self, lol!
