Mama Llama looks at Werewolves & Giveaway

First I would like to thank the EA Creator Network for this fantastic opportunity to review Werewolves.

Yes, I am finally here with my content.

I apologize to you guys for my neglect and delay.

I also apologize to the creator network for being a slacker.

There is a scuttle afoot that they (EA) place undue heavy demands to produce content upon us. But I will categorically deny that! Trust me when I say, I am proof positive that they are (thankfully) patient with GCs.

Some of you who follow me on Twitter know that my life has been crazy these past two months.

NOT with BAD STUFF tho! Lots of gardening and hiking in our fab PNW. Been on multiple trips and even got to go on a cruise with my BFF. In Florida, I got to hang out with 2 simmer friends. QTbrniis and NumbersWoman. We had a FAB time!

Getting ready to leave on another real soon. Any MI simmers want to do a meet-up? I am game!

I keep waiting for things to settle a bit but even now the garden screams at me for attention, I have two flats of very ripe marionberries that need to get canned, and it’s going to be a bright sunny day. My dear “Bob” wants to go walking with me and Mr Frodo Sir on the Narrows Bridge.

He took this while out fishing yesterday! It is gorgeous out there today too.

But really I need to get this done because I want to get it out before High School Years is released.

AS ALWAYS there is a code giveaway – TY EA Creator’s Network for generously giving me a code to gift!

To make up for my churlish behavior (getting this out so late) I will include a gifting of 4 kits from me.

Please let me know what one you want (outside of the Werewolf pack – which will be gifted first) when you enter.

More entry instructions at the bottom of this blog.

Please do not take my lack of attentiveness as an indication that there is any sort of displeasure for this pack on my part.

I absolutely adore it.

Moonwood Mill is incredible. It is styled in a Pacific Northwest aesthetic and that’s my beloved home so trust me when I say that I love it and have found a new fav world.

Wonderful job by the artists who created it!

(Not my screenshots)

And a “few” of mine taken in-game …

Although I seriously love the world aesthetic, I will say that shooting stories here will be a challenge. Like Forgotten Hollow, there are clarity and lighting challenges that will have to be dealt with by editing or the option of forgoing bright clear shots.

As I did in this blog … it was a matter of time time time … I had NO TIME!

A big issue that I had when creating this blog, which usually shows the CAS and B/B content of the new pack, was that in the little time I had to click in and work I would “accidentally” start to play whatever/whoever I was shooting. Before I knew I was NOT doing what I was supposed to be doing. The pack is so much fun and quite engaging!

In my defense, I did have to find Greg!

And my Remus Lupin (I HATE the movie version of Remus – I made my own Mooney & Tonks from what my mind saw when I was reading the books) was just waiting for me to make him become a werewolf ..

I had to do it!

If you like my Remus & Tonks (Teddy too) they are in the gallery.

As a faithful gallery rat, I have stayed true to myself and done some fun Werewolf content that you can find there.

Even did a little ratty build!

There are two versions …

UGH! EVEN NOW with wholly self-inflicted pressure and a firm resolve to work on the blog I again accidentally clicked into my game.

I see that judgment in your eyes Mooney!

So sorry to interrupt …

I will let you get back to making fiends with Greg!

Now let’s get down the business of looking at what the pack contains.

I know most of you have not lived under a simmie rock and probably have seen most of it but for those who have not, I will attempt to give you a quick look.

It is not comprehensive by any means but I do need to get this out of here.

My quick 2 cents here … I adore the B/B and CAS from this pack! Many of you know I am a great FAN for the Murkland challenge and wowsers this is a great pack for that one!

Also how FAB to do a rags to riches challenge when you get to start with REAL rags?

Build Buy items

(I missed the new columns but not going back in to shoot them).

SOOO FAB!!

The slashed Vlad pic cracks me up.

Now the part of B/B we all wait for … or at least I do!!

Debug!

I have some debug fence kits, a debug werewolf fishing hole kit, debug tunnels, and werewolf debug plants & trees in gallery rooms.

Stop by Lisabeesims to dl (say hi while you are there).

While I am on the subject of the gallery, I have some Gallery friends to introduce you to. They submitted sims for a CAS challenge to help me show off CAS assets for this pack.

If you (like me) are interested in finding FAB FAB creators to follow in the gallery then these are for you!

They are all so FAB but I love this last guy cause he looks like Elvis!

Pick your favs and go give them a follow! You will not be sorry!

I started to do a bit-by-bit CAS showcase but changed my mind. I started playing with them in-game and well …

Here are the boys in their natural habitat wearing their wonderful raggy werewolf looks …

The girls get their time to shine too!

We cannot forget the little ones!

It is their turn to howl!

I will say that I was disappointed that there was not more for the children and babies.

But at least what is there is cute.

I found this pic that will help you see the CAS bit-by-bit.

Not sure where it came from but if it is not from EA it is probably from The Sims Community.

Jovan and his crew are always on it.

I love the lunar cycle! It lured me into game play BIG TIME!

A few random things that I need to investigate further are …

Werebies.

One of my simmies got it in the tunnels.

Will start the quest for a cure soon.

The Moonpetal plant …

I did find out that it is not good for a snack.

  2. What a busy time you’ve had! Great review. This is such a cool pack and it has lots of really interesting stuff. I agree with you. The rags in this pack will make a Rags to Riches game more believable. GL to everyone entering the giveaway. Not entering as I have the pack 😊.
